These terms cover your use of Kollatz — the website at kollatz.app and its Android app. By using either, you agree to them. Kollatz is an independently run project, not part of a larger company.
Kollatz is a number puzzle game based on the Collatz conjecture. You can play as a guest, or sign in with Google to save your progress, appear on the leaderboard, and pick up where you left off across devices.
Signing in uses Google Sign-In — we never see or store your Google password. You choose a username shown publicly instead of your real Google name. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure; anyone with access to it can access your Kollatz account.
Play fairly. Don't attempt to manipulate scores, exploit bugs to gain an unfair advantage, or interfere with other players' use of the game. Don't use a username or avatar that's offensive, impersonates someone else, or violates someone's rights. We may suspend or ban accounts that break these rules, at our discretion.
You keep ownership of any username or avatar image you upload. By uploading an avatar, you confirm you have the right to use that image and grant us permission to display it within Kollatz. We may remove content that violates these terms.
The Android app shows ads served through Google AdMob to support development. See our Privacy Policy for details on the data involved.
Kollatz is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee the game will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. Use it at your own discretion.
To the extent permitted by law, Kollatz and its creator aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of saved progress or scores.
We may update Kollatz or these terms at any time. If these terms change, the date at the top of this page will change accordingly. Continued use after a change means you accept the revised terms.
You can stop using Kollatz and request account deletion at any time (see Contact). We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these terms.
